Detroit Blues Festival 1980...
Practicing in my dorm while i was at Berklee.
See the Two Rock cab under my desk?! I kept the head up top and would record that thing every day!
I believe this was my first paying gig sometime in the mid/late 70s. I was around 13/14. Yes, we were playing to an audience of Cub Scouts and their parents. It was a captive audience. That's my '69 SG and a shiny disco shirt.
1985, in my rental tux for prom (why?):
A few years later, with a couple of axes I built from Stew-Mac parts:
Forgot I had this one. Mostly junk, but there's a pre-CBS Super Reverb back there, and a Les Paul Deluxe I really dug.
I'm sure I thought this was a guitar.
Why my neighbors hated me, 1973. I needed a 105 watt tube amp with eight ten inch speakers like I needed another a$$_ _ _ _, but it was on sale at Schmidt Music in Minneapolis, so it was irresistible at the time. Wish I still had that Univox, it was a monster. Too bad I couldn't play worth a crap, but it sure looked impressive.
A loathsome oaf, 1975...
Cool retro photos here. I wonder how's everyone's hairline doing these days?
Let's just say I almost always wear a baseball cap, and leave it go at that.
1974 seems like yesterday
pic degraded on my neck WTF?
1974: Wish I still had the strat and the hair.
What ever turns you on...
Fall 1999, after school basement jam session. How I don't miss that Marshall Valvestate.
And that porn-stash?
Around 1966. Flipped Kay Value Leader- from a pawn shop.
I had a bunch of pics on unreadable floppy discs from the era of digital cameras before SD cards.
one of the earliest i can find online
1997 or so
tracking our second EP
1963 Lindel. Four pickups, rocker switches, roller pot controls, lots of chrome and mile high action. Very awful guitar.
