Guitar rig 5 impressive

    played a friends gr5 sounds impressive very low latancy!

    I'm actually quite impressed with some of the settings on GR4. Very low latency.

    Funny... I just downloaded the free pack earlier today. Giving it a whirl while the Axe II is still on loan. I've jammed with Guitar Rig and Amp Kit before... Lots of fun to be had!

    Some of the sounds are ok.
    AC30 SUCKS, at least to me.

    still using GR4... i think the sounds are mostly the same where GR5 gives you some more options to play with. i agree the ac30 stinks. there are a few decent sounding amps in there but i prefer vintage amp room for almost everything, though it clearly lacks the flexibility of GR. IMO the effects, flexibility, and mic'ing options are the high points of guitar rig software.

    I've been using GR4 for a long time, and I'm using GR5... it sounds great but I think it has a very lack in dynamics... I use it for hi gain compressed sounds and for easyness of recording...
