I'm considering attending one of these workshops and was wondering if anyone here has any experience with these or any others?

    Thanks!

I did National Guitar Workshop for 6 years running. Best week of the year.

I wouldn't hesitate to do something similar again.

I would love to go to that one with Joe Satriani. If i was single I'd do it for sure but I work too much and am away from the wife and family too much already to take time away for this.

Workshops are great. Don't expect to have it change your playing much .. It's just a few days ... But they can be a lot of fun in a guitar geek kind of way.

Heard great things about Steve Kaufman's.

I always came away with enough material to work on the rest of the year. YMMV

Jorma Kaukonen's Fur Peace Ranch is supposed to be a great learning/camp opportunity, also.

Hard for them to make money so some seem to be going the pricey 'celebrity' route. Fancy venues like Montana.
