I'm looking for a tool box for all of my guitar/amp tools (screwdrivers, allen wrenches, wire cutters, strings, polish, clothes, misc parts like old tuning pegs and pick-ups, etc).
    Any ideas?

Go to an army surplus store and get an ammo box.
For smaller boxes within boxes, try fishing tackle boxes. They do plenty of plastic boxes of various sizes...
Other than that, try a genuine tool box. :D

For gigging, I use a Crown Royal bag for my tools and just toss it in my guitar case. :dude

For home use, there are plenty of small, inexpensive toolboxes available. Just go to any department store and look in the hardware department. I have a plastic one that's about 16 x 8 x 10 that holds all of my tools, pieces and parts.

I use a fishing tackle box, cut some of the compartments to make them bigger (wider). This then goes into the gig bag with leads, stands, small portafile with sheet music, etc.

Fishing tackle box works well, lots of little trays for different things, picks, fuses, tubes etc.

I found this toolbox in the toolbox section at Walmart for $10 or so.

This is what I use as well. Works great. One of the best pieces of gear that I bought. That and a Rock n Roller cart.
