    Robert Cray.
    Freddie King.
    Bonnie Raitt.
David Gilmour until 2015 or so.
    Albert King

If I never had to hear Eric Johnson sing again I would be a happy man.

Warren Haynes and Vince Gill are my favorites.

Nobody in the thread comes close to Vince Gill in BOTH playing and singing.

As someone who's often been a 'hired gun' in a band, I learned something early on from BB. He was asked in an interview why he never plays and sings at the same time. His reply was, "I'll never sing over the top of my girl (ie, Lucille)". It stuck with me and I never play over the top of the singers.

Matt Bellamy. And you can add very skilled piano player to the singing and guitar.

While not amazing singers, because of what they do while singing I'd mention Dave Mustaine, James Hetfield and Kai Hansen.

I completely agree. To me, he sounds like Chris Cornell, and the way that he shreds using only his fingers is really unique. Super talented and I don't think he gets as much love as he should for his abilities.
