So, you know how the Gustavsson Bluesmasters come in those cheapo generic cases?

I decided that I needed to do something about it and ordered a custom case from my friends at Cedar Creek Cases. (basically a custom shop for TKL)

After a somewhat annoyingly long wait, the case finally arrived. I think it looks great!

BTW, for any other JG owners who might be interested in one of these, the dimensions are now on file. (I had to do a WHOLE LOTTA MEASURIN' as well as create a paper template in order to get the case custom-fit)

Here's the link for Cedar Creek: http://www.cedarcreekcases.com/

Oh, yeah, the cost... a little over $300.

    Awesome axe, awesome case!!!

I got nearly the same case for my Byrd, but instead of the gold velvet I choose burgundy crushed velvet. These Cedar Creek Cases are GREAT!

Whole shootin' match was a tad over $300. They're a custom shop, so custom-fitting is expected and part of the price tag. The acoustic cases can get pricier but their electric line runs in the $300-$400 range for what I get. I have CC cases for several guitars; Matt Artinger uses them as stock cases and I've ordered a couple for every day use with a couple of my vintage Gibsons.

That's what made the order so easy...it just took a little while to make. Cliff mentioned that they had the dimensions already on file, so I jumped on it. It is a really nice case. :AOK

Ameritage gets my vote as possibly the best case on the market right now.

That looks great and seem like way more protection. Love that alligator faux pattern.

ACCORD CASE - if i had an exquisite guitar like this i'd invest a small portion of the total cost in a case that will protect it AND look cool.... IMHO :

One of the guitarists of the Hot Club of San Francisco had an Accord case fail him, damaging a very expensive guitar. They look the ****, and might be semi proof, but the airlines seem to be able to find a way to damage anything. Calton is another high end brand to look into also. I would love to get ahold of a Calton or an Accord one of these days
