I've been reading H9 posts and was wondering how to switch between settings in a live situation.

If I would like to change different settings multiple times during a song, is it possible to do so? Would an outboard unit be required for switching between presets live vs scrolling through them? I am interested in purchasing a Timefactor for delay but to have other effects available would be great. I am curious how the small form factor functions in a live setting.

I haven't found any questions in threads related to this. Sorry If I missed an explanation elsewhere. Thanks.

You can switch presets live on the H9, much like you can on the timefactor. You have to switch between play and bank modes using one of the footswitches.

Getting an external controller definitely makes it a LOT easier. Even if you just got a dmc-2
