Thought I would start here. I was given a rough Hammond Porta B. It's beat up but works. It came with a 122 leslie. The issue is this: When I switch the leslie speed from slow to fast, there is a very short period where the volume drops out, then returns. Less than a second or so. Any suggestions as to the cause?

Feel free to point me to another forum, website, etc......

    Thanks!

seems like it the amp may be dragging down but just from the motor??
I would first clean all the connnections for the cables to the leslie and look at the wiring for the motor as well.

Do a search on Hammond sites....many of them out there...

Thanks for the links. Back in the 60's we used to chop M3 Hammonds. We got the blueprint from Sunn for their organ case, and spent a lot of time putting them together. My old keyboard player is swinging by this weekend to go thru it with me.
