What tweed are you running? I've been in tweed heaven with the Victoria Double Deluxe I picked up several months back. Have yet to play a guitar that doesn't sound great through it. Have to say that my R9 > FD2 > Double Deluxe is a devastating combo as well. Fat & juicy tone that's very old school Marshall-esque when cranked.

I have had a number of Vickies, but recently picked up an Ivy League and cannot believe how good it is! Volume, grind and headroom are all perfect. I agree - BTW - my R7 sounds killer as well!

cg, do you have clips? You used to post clips of your Germinos, howzabout some Ivy League stuff? Love to hear 'em.
