Is there anyone out there making something like the HT cab at less cost? I want to play with a vertical cab like the 212 Jerry used with my newly acquired THD BiValve.

Check out the equipment discussion at www.rukind.org
There a lot of DIY'ers of there. They can point you in the right direction for info. Also check out www.dozin.com they have an equipment page that has some details about th HT's. IMO they aren't anything special as far as cabs go. Just some plywood and some JBL's.

    Here you go.http://www.dozin.com/cabs/speaker.html

I have two Hard Trucker 2x12 cabs, they are great sounding cabs. I have sold all my cabs except for one Marshall-style 1x12 since getting them.

I have two JG-1's myself. They are my main performance cab. They are very directional, and I do love them pointing to my ear on stage while mic'ed. OTOH, they lack big bottom IMO.

Check out Lopoline cabinets too. I know they sell kits on ebay that you can put together yourself with your choice of tolex, tweed, whatever. I have read nothing but good things about them and they are VERY reasonably priced.

Here is a pic of my new cab made by Mike Hogan from over at Rukind. I threw in some weber californias.
