    Hi,
I've used them in both Tele and humbucker models. The tele's are rather hot, not at all muddy, great string articulation, beautiful clear tones, and still a tele sound. The hums are not at all over-hot, fantastic clean tones, overdrive nicely, great string articulation, just beautiful tone. I have made guitars with the tele's in them for several pros and they love them. The hums are in my personal humbucker-equipped guitar, a neck-thru totally of zebrawood with a rosewood board and RS electronic upgrade package.
    Peace,
    Dave

Great, great pickups. I have them in my 56 NOS Strat and they are loud and clear. Nearly as loud as a P-90, but zero mud. I also have HD pickups in my Teles and Andersons. Somehow, he makes pickups with great clarity, sensitivity and punchy volume--but they NEVER sound overwound. Highly recommended.

HD Bucker in the Neck of my Chapin. Love it too. Warm with no mud. I like them so much I'm on the fence for my McRosie: HQ Bucker or Z-90 can't decide.

Thats cool. I like the look of your guitars. There used to be a guitar line that had the same name in the 80's-90's in CA.

    Hi,
I have many more than on the website. E-mail me at dlblackburn2@msn.com I haven't been good about updating the site. That kind of thing just doesn't appeal when I could be working on guitars!
    Peace,
    Dave

The V+ tele neck pickup is stellar. Great pickups from HD in my experience.

Yup, that's what I've got in my '52 RI (matched with a Fender Custom Shop 10.2K Nocaster bridge PUP - a match made in Tele heaven).

V+ in the neck and middle of my Strat (STP in the bridge) - I dig 'em. The middle position is the best I've tried...

They don't impress me as much as the Z-90s and the STP have, but they are great sounding pups.

One day, I'll have a guitar with the V+ Tele bridge and a Z-90 in the neck - that combo keeps me up nights thinking about it...

I have a set in a Rosewood board Tele and they aren't coming out. A great rock/blues sound. Smoother than the Bakersfield twang... The neck pickup is among the best Tele neck tone I have used, including a wound-by-Seymour-Duncan-himself "Nancy" neck pup. Smooth and jazzy if you want, but not muddy. Really works with your tone circuit.
