Amazing track you guys!!! Great groove, vibe, and wicked Harry J playing!! Loved the piano groove! You are a genius John!!

Btw, I'll get to that track really soon... Sorry to be so tardy. I have not recorded in a month!

Once again, blistering bluesin' from HJ!

Geez, Harry, what cool playing. Man you are so good.

It's so inspiring to play on top of John's music isn't it? His arrangements provide so many places to slip in and out of.

I've got to listen to this several more times.

    Hey thx guys...
John just comes up with the freshest stuff doesn't he?
Killin' playing, writing and damn...that cool assed singing!

When I saw Cminor/E on the chart I thought... huh? ...could he mean C7#9 first inversion (errr... with no b7)? ..... No, his voicings are so clever that he made C minor over E in a blues with a C7 tonal center work! And not just work I mean WORK! What a cool tension.

Every new tune I hear just seems to take it to yet another level.
I can keep goin'... but I suspect you all feel the same, right?

I dunno, when I hear my playing on this, I jus' wonder what would John have done? Something fresh no doubt!

    John.... Mucho Respecto Bro!

    I dunno,
The more I hear most of what I play, the more I hate it.
Perhaps John will let me take another shot, so I can eventually hate that one too :)

    Harry,

I think your track sounds great but I know how you feel ...

I feel the same way when I listen back to my track. I hate my timing, my sloppiness, and then I feel intimidated when I listen to John's guitar playing.

I know that syndrome well and would advise not listening to it for awhile, before you go re-doing it. I can tell you IMHO your playing kills on the tune...FWIW if I was in your position and was feeling that way I would let Mr. Findlay make the call....I am sure these are all things you know well. but I thought I would throw it out there.......again I think you absolutely killed on it ...

LOL you both are crazy.......if either of you played any better on those tracks.......well frankly I can't imagine that...
Let john decide. I am pretty sure I know what he will say..........

    LOL Harry-its the digital age-track on!:RoCkIn!

-just back from outta town!---the more I hear the more I love it!!!

I have to say its easy to write some of these "changes" on a sequencing programme.
Harry & I had a brief discussion about the tonality of the bridge/slash solo-and it IS wierd--its between Cminor & A minor-not as typical
blues as the rest of the song--the changes are like a cross between Richard Tee & Zawinul-2 of my big "keyboard voicing" influencers...

    so figure go?
