Curious how similar or how different.
I’ve had both. The JJ jr has 3 channels or more accurately, 2 main channels and 3 sound options. It and is much more aggressive sounding. It is a very loud 20 watt amp. Love mine enough that I recently sold my BE-50! The mini dirty Shirley has its own thing going that is great as well. Single channel with 3 gain levels. I liked it as well.
Going to bump this thread. Any more people have experience with both? If you could only have one, which would you keep and why? My DSM has pretty much cured my gas....except for the JJ
No, but I compared the DSM to the PT20, and the DSM destroyed it. The DSM was astounding, and the PT20 left a lot to be desired. I'd get the DSM again any day!
Wow cool demo. Fine player too. My conclusion is... all of them are good!
You can really hear that these amp designs are no accident, lol. Every amp does what it is supposed to.
