Has anyone replaced the knobs on their Tim/Timmy with custom/different knobs?

I prefer metal knobs on my pedals, so I tried replacing them with smaller aluminum ones, but they didn't look right. I changed them back within a couple days...sorry, deleted the picture from my phone already. That's how bad they looked :)

I'd really like to know if the knobs pictured here on the Timmy would fit on my v2 Tim. The eq and level knobs are pretty tight. The stock knobs are 0.75" and those cream vintage knobs are 0.8"...

I really like the 4 color combination on the FB AD pedal. I will try that combination on the Timmy this weekend...

How hard are the knobs to get off the Tim? ... or
    Timmy?
I'm about to order some white ones and want to know how hard or easy it is.
