Has anyone seen/tried these new Joe Meek pedals? They were at summer NAMM.

There's an OD + Equalizer and the famous Joe Meek Optical Compressor.

hmm... haven't heard them but $199 for the compressor doesn't sound bad. I wonder how much the gbQ would run?

That EQ pedal is nice. If it had a DI that would be a really nice one for bass.

I've had a couple of their rack pre's decent gear for the price. Don't know if they'd bring anything special to the table as far as guitar gear though.

I just found out about this message board, and sorry for not responding sooner.

The new gbQ does have an XLR DI output with variable level. It also has a headphone jack, insert jack and more. I also record and have been using it for bass and guitar. It works real well.

As for the sound, my opinion is biased, so I will not comment. The gbQ has a lot of features on it.

If anyone has any questions, I am happy to answer them...:)

Whatever happened to that 'Fathead', I think it was called? I saw it announced and it was on the Joe Meek website briefly but it never came out.
