1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with the new 50 watter. I wonder what one in a 1-12 open back cabinet would sound like with say an AC30 style amp (Vox, JMJ, Valvetech, 65 amps), a Komet, or a Germino Club 40/Lead 55 LoVo/Lead 55? I guess the questions I'm really trying to get answered are, wouldn't it theoretically result in helping to bring the volume down as opposed to running a 2-12 or 4-12 setup while at the same time providing some of the chimey richness that we love so much in Alnico Blues? Would it have enough low end when pushed hard with a 30 to 50 watt amp? Is it a good match for EL34 type amps?

has anyone even SEEEN one would be more like it. Other than the rep and at an amp show, it seems to be the unicorn of the speaker world.

I've heard from a reliable source that the Golds are brighter than the Heritages. Is that true?

I just heard that the Gold's are actually just a cruel prank, they don't even exist and aren't scheduled for production.

That's kind of a "apples and oranges" question.

They are similiar to a broken in Blue. Plenty of the chime with a rounder warm bottom.

I like apples and oranges :D . Well I've never played a blue, I was just wondering about changing the Heritage in my 18w to something a bit darker but I'd still like to keep some chime.
