Wow! What a performance at the Grammy's.

I have to laugh; most of the female performers today feel the need to strip down to their underwear in order to compensate for a lack of talent; all Adele has to do is open her mouth and sing. What a class act.

Most of them didn't have a serious vocal chord issue 5 months ago either.....

She's a powerhouse. Its a shame her stuff gets so overplayed but she is a MONSTER talent.

It's amazing the talent gulf between her and... others in the same show.

Yeah that was great. No lip "sink" from her. She's got power and pure vocal quality. Yeah, she's overplayed but I for one, am glad this type of music is popular.

she's in a different league from every other modern artist that took the stage. and that's before you even get into the surgery stuff.

she's 3 months post-surgery. i had a very similar vocal chord surgery and i couldn't talk at all for 3 weeks. the first time i sang in public was 7 weeks later... backup vocals only, taking it VERY easy. the fact she belted it out like she did tonight is just mind blowing.

:agree I constanly have to police my daughter on what she is listening to because of what you stated above. Adele is an amazing singer who deserves props for staying classy and being herself.

Adele got a standing ovation at the Grammy's. Right on! We could tell that she was still having placement problems and looked extremely scared. Truth be told, who wouldn't be?

She has brass balls to go out and do what she did. It shows that people are putting value in real music, by musicians and vocalists, et cetera, again. And we can all be excited about that. I know I am! :D

I almost watched the ****ing grammys to see her. I figured it wasn't worth 2 hours of crap to see 2 minutes of good.

i'm trying to get what all the fuss is about....i salute more of a pure singer but the material doesn't really do it for me. plus you get hammered over the head with it 24/7.

i dug the superstar guitar war at the end of the grammies.

What radio station do you all listen to? I've heard her only one time on a soft music station because the rock stations were in the middle of their usual 45 minutes per hour of commercials. I guess I need to get out more.
