Ok, so I have $50.00 left to spend on pedals... I know not a lot of $ to spend, but I love the thrill of the hunt and finding something at a good price, or trying brands that aren't always the most popular. I lead worship, and play music similar to: Bon Iver, Jonsi, Explosions in the Sky, Thrice, Death Cab for Cutie, Sunny Day Real Estate, and so on.. So what should I get?
Here's my signal path: Gibson LP 50's tribute or Squier CV 50's Tele-> Ernie Ball VPJR -> Joyo Tuner (pitch black copy) -> TS808 clone -> Fulltone Fulldrive II Mosfet (comp cut/clean boost) -> Lovepedal Les Lius -> Danelectro Trans. OD v1 -> Line 6 MM4 (modulation modeler) -> EHX Deluxe Memory Man w/tap tempo -> Boss DD20 Giga Delay -> Behringer Verbzilla copy -> A/B/Y box -> both inputs of my AC30cc2x
I figure I have delay, reverb, dirt, and modulation covered, but I want to find something even if it is in one of those categories but is unique sounding. Some thoughts I have.. the Joy octave/fuzz? a dirt pedal with a little more gain on tap but not pushing me into hi gain territory..
