    Hello

I went and played some teles' and Gretsch's yesterday.

I played a Tele Deluxe, Tele Highway One(it was ok), and a Tele USA Standard.
I played a Gretsch Tennessee Rose, The 6119 with the black pickups with Gretsch written on it, and the 5120.
    Cool guitars.
I have gas, gas from the A#%$.
    I have a Gibson Limited Edition 335:

I like it , great guitar, sounds great, but I don't play it so much.

Should I buy the Gretsch Tennessee Rose and sell the Gibson?
Or should I keep the Gibson and save up and get the Tennessee Rose?
Or should I sell it and get the Gibson Chet Atkins Country Gentlemen?

    Help Please

Dude that 335 is smokin! Very cool.

Still, I feel it's better to have a guitar you'll play. Guitars like to be played. It's why they exist.

You'll probably regret selling the Gibby somewhere down the line. Maybe you could find a nice used Tennessee Rose, one of the Fender era models from around 2003-up, and keep the Gibson.

Guitars don't do us much good if we're not playing them. The question is why aren't you playing this one and why would you be more likely to play another?

I like it, and I bought it a couple of years ago, its a 1998 model.
I have it mainly because I finally got a 335 after years of wanting one.

But I really want a Chet Atkins Country Gentleman or a Gretsch Tennessee Rose.
I know I would play both of these all of the time. The 335 I will use mostly for Jazz stuff and it would not be my main guitar. I play all kinds of music.

I want the Lucille too, because of the varitone and it is cheaper than a 345.
If I had the Lucille, I would not sell it.
