I was wondering if anyone can tell me if the half power switch cuts out two tubes.. If so, does this affect the impedence? Also, is the master volume a post phase inverter master? I have heard they dont work well... Any info would be appreciated..

I play mine exclusively in 1/2 power mode with 60-70% MV most of the time except for certain guitars with weaker pickups.

I believe the 1/2 power mode takes out a pair of output tubes. Regarding the impedance compensation...I don't know (I do not think it does nor matters).

I believe the MV is PPI (regardless...it works very well).

    It is a great amp.

I have a Hayseed 15, so I can't comment on the 1/2 power but the MV is great. Pretty sure its a PPIMV. I run my MV anywhere from 1/2 to wide open and can't tell a difference in tone.
