HBOD into SYOD is my favorite pedal based lead tone.
AWF into HBOD is my favorite postrock fuzz tone.
Model G into HBOD is my punchy dirty rhythm tone.

    You nailed it man.

The HB takes almost everything very very well. It's all about what you're looking for tone wise.

Kicking in my buzzaround fuzz stacked with an HBOD is like a swarm of killer bee's being shot out of a canon that's mounted to a freight train.

I'm digging the Emerald Green OD with my HBOD. Sort of a perfect yin-yang combo.

You might like one of the British flavors to bring that out in those two heads - Dyna Red (early Marshall) - Emerald Greens (Vox and later Marshalls) Model H (Hiwatt) - and they all match well with the Bee family...

Just about everything sounds good stacked with a Honey Bee !!
I even stack a BJF Honey Bee with a Bearfoot Honey Bee.

Yup, one of the best things to stack with a Honey Be is a ..... Honey bee - putting the two nature controls in different spots gives a wide range of possibilites

Bump! I'd love to hear what pedals folks are pairing with their Honey Bees in 2019...

    Stacks I've used and like:
Amp is a Blues Deluxe -
HB > Fulltone Secret Freq (love this one) = fat and chewy on my strats bridge pickup. (full chain was HB > KOT > SF, one of my favourite chains, but a rethink of my three boards forced some changes).
HB > KOT > The Dude
Currently, on my big board: HB > KOT > Model Hs. I prefer the Hs to the Dude in this chain, plus I like the Dude on another board :).
My favourite stack is still the HB > SF, just not possible for me atm. SF is filling other duties.

Menatone Red Snapper > HBOD is my favorite combo!

An Emerald Green Distortion Machine is fantastic into a HBOD. It can do Neil Young with them stacked.

A treble booster is also amazing into the Bee.

I’m running a HBOD into a Kingsley Page. I also tried out a Hot Cake into the HBOD and that works great, although I noticed an earlier post that switched those positions so I’m gonna try that

One of my favorite stacks is still the Honey Beest.... it is a Honey Bee with a pregain Rooster Booster...and in the Plus version the boost is switchable. This is actually the one that started me on the Plus series.

I sandwich my HBOD between a Kingsley Minstrel and a Constable. The HBOD is still the indispensable one of the three.
Further down the line I also run a Clinchfx ep-pre. The bee and ep-pre make a great dynamic duo.

Since I last posted in this thread and I had no Honey Bees, I have since acquired another BJFe Honey Bee! Yep, still sounds amazing with the EGDM too.
