headstock face repair question.....

the pic is not for the guitar in question but represents the problem pretty well. is there a way to repair the damaged face of a guitar headstock? see where the black faceplate is missing around the tuner bushings? thoughts?

That seems to be an older Hamer..if so it's finished in nitro and that is good!
Any competent repairman will be able to make all of that completely dissapear.
An easy job (excepting if it is contaminated with silicone via furniture polish, etc)

maybe it's just the newer hamers (post '90) that have a black headstock overlay? anyway, thanks for the responses.
