Headstock Tuners on your Electrics...Yes? No?

    For me, accuracy is a non-issue. Visibility is a minor issue. But the trade off is a reliable, non-guitar volume mute vs. pedalboard space. Up to you. It's a win-win situation.

    I use my clip on tuners only on my acoustics and at home. I don't find them as fast and accurate as my pedal tuner.

    Funny but yeah.

    I'm not sure about the clip holding up reliably over lots of use.

    I use the small planet waves clip on for gigs. It works just as well as a polytune, a pitch-black and a turbo tuner. I use the pedal tuner nowadays just for intonation.
