Just caught the Crossroads show with Heart/Wynonee. Anns' tone, especially on the first tune, "Magic Man" was way cool. She is playing a LP Special (single cut w/P90's) which looks new vs. vintage. Ding-dang-darn cameraman never got a good shot of her amps. Don't they know why we watch this show???. Her two cabs. have Marshall logos on them and looked to be 4X12's. Each cab. had two heads or what looked like maybe a small rack on top of them. The top head or top rack space looked like a BF Bassman. Do anybody know....Da Shadow Do.....

Just an FYI, Nancy is the one who plays, Ann is the vocal power.

I saw them a couple of years ago. Nancy was using a brown Fender Deluxe and a tweed Bassman.

Nancy also happens to be married to writer/director Cameron Crowe (Almost Famous, Jerry Maquire, Vanilla Sky, Singles, Say Anything).

Nancy rocks man! I saw them several times and they always put on a great show. Nancy really gets into the guitar and man does Ann have a set of pipes. Why does she settle for that guy??......she can marry me! Of course I'd have to get divorced first........

Saw about 2 minutes of a concert Heart did with Gretchen Wilson- who did a credible enough job for a red-neck woman.

But as soon as Ann jumped in, you know EXACTLY who da (wo)man was.
    Not even close.

They've been running a Las Vegas Heart concert on VH1 w/ special guests Dave Navarro, Jerry Cantrell ( along w/ Alice and Chains plus Pantera's singer ) and Gretchen and a few others. Ann and Nancy are awesome. Nancy is one sexy chick that can play, plus she has some nice rock and roll moves :) .

Howard Leese is one of the best guitar players I've ever seen and I've seen a bunch. I so wish he was still with them. He used to use Marshall, Soldano etc. He is really one of the first guys to break out with a PRS. He owns the second one ever made. He has an extensive collection. I've seen Nancy lately using Orange cabinets anyway. The other guitar player really struggles IMHO. Howard Leese made it look effortless.

    Hey Robert1950,

VH-1 is a video channel that's an offshoot from the original MTV in the U.S.. They feature a lot of the videos of older music that's not featured on MTV 1 or MTV 2 and caters to a different and older age group. We receive VH-1 on either satellite or cable. You may get this channel in your country, but you have to look for it on your program guide.

I can honestly say that during my concert-going heyday (late 70s to early 80's), I saw Heart twice, and they were the two best rock concerts I've ever been to. Sounded great, monster musicians, and great songs.

BTW, the worse one I saw during that period was Boston.
