Heavy formvar wire still in use?

Are any mainstream pickup makers (Fender, DiMarzio, Duncan and I'll include Fralin for a wider field of candidates) still using heavy formvar wire, or are they using regular poly coat & occasional plain enamel?

It's been discussed all over the place what the differences are between the different types of magnet wire, but I'm just asking what manufacturers are using most often these days.

Don't know - it's been my experience that some GFS stuff is hit/miss. Didn't like the Dream 90 or Vintage '59 p'ups I tried, but the Liverpools were pretty cool. I was going to pick up the Mean 90's, but went with BG p'ups Pure 90's instead. Might finish wiring those in today.
