Here's a heavy guitar instrumental but it's not a lot of Yngwie type noodling. Hope ya like it. All done on the Roland BR1180CD. The rythm tracks were done with my les paul through a couple of the br1180 amp sims. The lead tracks were done with the les paul through my Mesa studio pre ito one of the BR1180's cab sims ( don't remember which one though).

That was pretty cool. The instruments had a lot of definition to them. Bitey and chunky. You had some sweet riffs during it too. Did you put that jam track together yourself or find it somewhere else?

That is great TONE. Thunderous and heavy, yet pretty well defined! There's a lot of maturity in the playing, I love the vibes - excellent rock vibrato!

I guess... If I had to complain about something.. it would be.. ah... having a 3 or 4 part harmony for the amazing appregio section @ 3 mins or so. That part sounded absolutely killer and picking twice per note is absolutely hard to do! Can you imagine what a 3 part harmony for that would do? :D

    Greg,

I was wondering when I'd stumble accross your name here. Where are your clips dude? better yet, I think I sitll have a cassett tape of a jam we did back in '85. You with your SS marshall and me with my SS yamaha amp. I thinkg The gear pagers would enjoy a listen. I'll have to dig it up.

Excellent song and excellent recording as well. That guitar style is right in my wheel house. I wish you would have posted it as an MP3. It'd be going into my guitar hero instrumental shred playlist for sure.

    Keep 'em comin'!!!
