Agreed. Enough of this childish nonsense.

    So, are we there yet?

Erm, I definitely would NOT go on tour with fresh firmware like that, unless you've got a solid backup. Also, I'm not sure I want to bank at your bank! ;-)

It was.... I really like the idea that in future releases, threads like this be called a feature of the release :)

My bet is he wouldn't necessarily see that. Maybe... but I'm pretty sure he acted as he felt. I think we all have to become more tolerant and understanding of cultural differences, both world based, but also even brain structured. Engineers especially are very often considered "on the spectrum", and as was previously noted, binary thinking can be a part of that. I'm not in any way saying he is, I've never met him, know absolutely nothing about him other than he's a software programmer for a bank and lives in Luxembourg. Oh, and he's in a band and about to go on tour. And, heck, this a text forum, I can't possibly understand the full context of what he really meant based on what he wrote; but, I know I consider myself to be, based on the reactions of others. I do try to be introspective about my behavior, and I have learned a lot about how to interact with humans over the last 56 years, but, there is a limit to what I'm able to understand about how others feel or understand how it is I should have acted. And doing that in real time?? Oh, my...

That's too kind, but now that you mention MIJ guitars, these are my two newish MIJ's. A Momose strat, which is one of the best Strats I've tried, with a Madagascar rosewood board and a Semi hollow T Bacchus. It's a hog body.

I know this is OT, but maybe that's a good thing? :)

Not to come off sexist, but based on the avatar and a few remarks I think this one’s a she.

Well that changes everything. Still doesn't give this person a pass for telling us how we should behave.

Nice! I have a MIJ 83 Fender Strat, 70's Ventura ES 175 copy, Orville Les Paul Custom and a CIJ 72 Tele Thinline with Lollars.

Sounds like a cool collection. I'm going to track down some kind of humbucker guitar and I might sound for a 335 style guitar. Maybe a Tokai MIJ or maybe an Eastman. They look great as well.

I've had and sold a couple of the Eastmans. I've tried really hard to like them but they just didn't have any mojo to them. The fit and finish were great, I just never quite bonded with the ones I had. Both were impulse buys off reverb.com so you never know until you get it in your hands if it speaks to you.

I've seen some second hand for sale locally, so I would get to try them out. The MIJ Tokai, I wouldn't hesitate to buy sight unseen. They're pretty consistent. But thanks for the tip. Do you think it could be the pickups? I prefer lower output, and maybe they just use some that are too hot?
