I know a guy named Jim Rawlings that can make the Red Bean POD & an Atomic Reactor sound like a million bucks! He plays with his fingers a lot, has KILLER vibrato & kows how to dial in his (or any) tone too! He made my 11-Rack sound just stellar & now makes the Axe FX2 sound wicked awesome!

Imagine if we all put as much time into our playing as we do talking (aka bashing lol) gear? :p

I have also heard great technique through badly set-up gear & that is not always a good thing either. o_O

Call Arend Raby over at Sweetwater sound & tell him "X-Mann" sent ya!

Jokes aside, they do have the Friedman ASM-12 in their system now. When I ordered they had no clue, but now several have been ordered through them. It will be a NON RETURN order though. FYI

In that same spirit, here's a link to a free Orange PPC 4x12 V30 cab that I find AMAZING: http://1drv.ms/1JVgcFX

Also, here's a Diezel 2x12 G12K100 cab with a blend of mics that was created and distributed at Fractal Axe Fest 2014: http://1drv.ms/1JVgtIX

I'd love to hear crunch and lead clips with these!

Finally got some tones I'm starting to like here's a couple clips.

I'm using the Brit Plexi and Tweed Blues models in parallel both running into a 4x12 with Greenbacks and a 1x12 with a CL80. Both clips have a compressor on and the lead clip has a mod delay. The Tweed is set clean and the Plexi is set dirty, in the lead clip I just basically doubled the gain on the Plexi.

I figured so. I don't think they will ship it to me in Canada, Tim. Would probably cost a pile in duty and taxes as it is.

Sucks! Have to hope that someone from Friedman comes through with my current dealer.

Here's a quick noodle I did last night using the "Stone Age 185" model and cab with some plate reverb.

Done with a lap steel though... Melancon with P90s in both neck and bridge. Click towards end of track is me switching over to neck p'up.

Thanks guys, I guess its safe to post some more clips. Here's another one with a clean tone (JTM and Deluxe) with a lead using the same slide preset I posted earlier. Both takes are with a homemade tele... rhythm is neck and lead is bridge. Tele is a bit noisy, you might here some hum in there in places....along with the warts I threw in (I need to get all the bad notes out before my gig this weekend, LOL)

Was listening to some Dumble clips from the Axe II and I felt inspired to make another clip....

Route 66 model with dual cabs, Klon, Memory Man, and some verb

Man, it's 2am I really need to get some sleep....

This sounds great! One of the tones I'm looking to build myself!
