I've been sheepish about buying the Helix, since I don't want another piece of hardware clogging up my space. This is a most unexpected and welcome surprise. I will definitely be purchasing this. NAMM 2017 is shaping up to be the best NAMM yet.

Wow, nice job Line6! I always wanted some sort of integration of the Helix with a DAW, and this takes it to the next level.

I truly hope you're being sarcastic.

No one is holding a gun to your head to buy this.

This is awesome news!! Until Helix I did all my recording with plug ins and it will be nice to go back to that workflow in the studio, have the Helix floor for live, and consistent tones across the board.

A couple of years ago I was REALLY wishing there would be some type of S Gear hardware, but now Line 6 has everything covered. Nice job Line 6!

I'm not aware of the company you're referring to, but I'm glad Helix is going to be a plugin...cool.

I believe the name rhymes with "do re me"... ;)

Mostly sarcastic. Curious to see what the discount for Helix owners will be. It'd be nice to not need the hardware to jam my tones at home, but if it's still a $200 VST, I'll just lug the hardware back home.

Yeah, now that I think about it, it doesn't quite work unless you pronounce "do" the way it's pronounced normally, and not sung... oops. Serves me right for trying be clever.

As cool as this is, I was still hoping for a smaller Helix unit as well. Oh well.
