I've been on this forum for a few years and realized that i never introduced myself.
I'm 47! (still can't believe I'm that old) I live in Lancaster, Pa.
Originally from West Haven, Ct the home of The Rockhouse and Rockhouse Guitar Method which was created by my friend John McCarthy who has been referred to as a Guitar Virtuoso in numerous Magazines.
I was disabled in car accident 20 yrs ago which has forced me to be a stay at home Dad while my Wife is working. I get my Wife off to work, take the kids to school, do my house choirs and play my guitars. I recently decided to start learning finger style blues on acoustic after playing electric my entire life.
Studied jazz, rock, metal and have been teaching myself the blues for many years. I have only played at home my entire life. I play just to please my self and relax. My only audience is my German Shepherd named Spike.
Current equipment: Fender American Deluxe Strat, Martin D-Mahogany 09, Martin CEO-7, Fender FR-50 Resonator and a Ron Emory Parlor Guitar.
Amps; Fender Super Sonic -22 and a Pierson Tweed Deluxe. I play these amps fully cranked for fantastic Blues tone. I use my guitar volume control for dynamics. Now that you know who i am, please take it easy on me. I'm just an old guy who plays guitar, smokes cigars and BBQ's (culinary school graduate) Love to cook. Thanks, Jay (SuperBlues)

    Thank you Ken!
South Carolina, making me think of BBQ pork with that great mustard sauce. One of my favorites. Jay

Welcome! My sister lives off of Rte 896 near the Maryland border, not that far south of you. I play blues, sometimes with other people, but mostly in the house.

    Thanks for the welcome!
I'm about 15 min. from 896, runs right thru Strasburg. A great town to visit especially for train buffs and kids. Jay

    Thanks for the welcome Jim!
    I love the archtop photo.
I recently sold my 1962 Guild x-50 and 1990 Washburn J-6 to purchase my Martin CEO-7.
Miss my archtops but love the Martin CEO-7.

We took our son, when he was little, to Strasburg Railroad, when they had a train dressed up to be Thomas The Tank Engine. He was really into that then, it was perfect timing. The ride was beautiful, and I was glad to see that they are trying to preserve the farmlands in that area.
