Hey! I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I have been reading posts on this page forever, and finally decided to create an account, in part due to my daily increasing guitar, amp, and pedal addiction.

I have spent the last 20 years playing Gibson guitars, and recently converted to Charvel (Those necks man...I love em'); My playing had actually waned quite a bit over the last 10 years or so until I bought my San Dimas and a 5153 50watt 6l6...and now it's like I can't stop!

From another Bmore guy, welcome Chris. There are quite a few of us here, especially when including the MD/DC/NoVA region.

    Hello all. Newbie here.

After a long hiatus it looks like I am finally retired (laid off) from my day job (“career”) and now have time to get back into music.

I still have my late 60’s Jazz Bass but my old enormous Kustom amp is long gone. So, I am looking for a small practice bass amp that is not too heavy (I live upstairs) that is preferably tube or at least sounds like a tube amp for around $500 Yankee dollars or so.

Any suggestions or observations would be much appreciated, Thank you all.
