Hello everyone, My name is Eric. I just found this place form a post on another message board. I live for music, as do most of you probably. I also love photography. There is nothing better than combining the two while taking pictures at concert. I also love playing hockey. As far as gear goes I tend to play Fenders most of the time. I do own two LP's and one Jr. that I love. I started playing guitar in 1975 at the age of 11. my first guitar, which I still own, was a '60's Yamaha acoustic that sounds like a tin can. I bought my first electric in '77. A brand new Fender Stratocaster hardtail. That guitar has now been with me for 30 years and will never leave my side, altough my brother "borrowed" it while I was away in the army and learned to play on it also. I have since owned and sold many guitars. A few I wish I still had, my original Silverburst LP for one. My amps are a '77 Fender Champ that I bought with the Strat, a early '80's Twin Reverb, a recent Bassman reissue, and a pignose that I bought while living in the barraks in the army. I have too many pedal, according to the wife. The ones that are usually on the pedal board are a Vox Wha, an Analogman Sunface, Analogman Beeno Boost, MXR distortion +(also bought in '77), Boss CH-1, Boss TU-2, Ernie Ball Volume, and analogman A/B/Both pedal for amp switching. I currently play in two bands. One a praise band at my church, and a blues/rock/jam band. As far as influences where should I start. Joe Perry is the reason I started playing guitar. I actually meet him and told him that he had changed my life. Keith Richards is probably my biggest influence. I consider my self more of a rythm player than an outright lead guitarist. I love Hendrix, Clapton, Ronnie Wood (when he was in Faces), Dicky Betts, Duane Allman, Frampton, and too many others too name. I love to see bands that stretch it out when they play live. If I wanted to hear an exact copy of the album I'll just listen to that. Two of my favorite bands currently are the Black Crowes and the North Mississippi Allstars.
