HELP! Blender pot wiring pos. 1 and 2 only.

Hi, i am new on this forum, but chose to write here since previous topics regarding the blender pot has been answered here. So hopefully some of you guys can help me out.

So, i gutted my guitar and sitting with a wiring scheme and was about to plan the wiring... I don't know how to pull this one off, and i am doubting the info i found on the net. So right now i have a blender pot successfully installed, but i only find it useful to blend in the neck when on bridge position. Therefore i would like to keep the neck pos free from the blender.

So this is where i am right now (just took the picture 2 min. ago):

In this thread (https://www.thegearpage.net/board/archive/index.php/t-148831.html) "Jawjatek" is talking about the same thing. But I'm doubting that one, since its so different from where i am right now.
Anybody knows the exact steps to go from normal blender to blender only on bridge position.

There are about three diagrams you can use. One always blends the neck in regardless of the switch position (1, 2 or 3). One only blends the neck with the bridge when in Position 1 (traditionally bridge only).

I have a couple of each. The one I've personally used is on Duncan's site. The one my buddy uses (I have a couple pickup/wiring harnesses from him) is more like the first option I used above and is on ACME's website.

Thans. Well the one from acme is the one i have now, i believe. I want the second one you mention, so its only the neck that will blend in when using bridge position. I want the neck to be "clean". Do you have a diagram?

You'd want the third diagram and you'd need to add a jumper to add the neck to the middle, but then you'd have the neck blend in positions 1-3.

Cool. but then, when i look at the diagram from acme its not the same as no 1 at your link, but it should be right? Take a look:

Its like the neck and bridge swapped place at the switch.. headache..

Wire the blender like this (this is basic blend wiring, you'll also have to note the modifications in the second diagram):

This frees up the other side of the switch to direct then blend only as you want it.

Okay. but is there any specific reason why i need to wire no the other side of the switch? What is the difference of which side i wire on?

Think of the switch like a patch bay. You need to route the signal from the neck pickup to the other side of the switch in order to blend it only with the bridge pickup. So you need to jumper the neck pickup to the common on the other side of the switch in order to patch it into the appropriate spot (i.e. the bridge pickup). I'm doing the same thing, only in reverse, and wiring mine to add the output of the bridge pickup to the neck position on the switch. The Acme wiring allows you to blend the neck with the bridge & vice versa. If you only want the blend in one position, you need to use both sides of the switch.
