    Hello,

I have a newly acquired Catalinread Belle Epoch and I'm thinking about getting a 2nd delay in order to have some different options . I'm after something that would work well with the Catalinbread for ambient swells.

I nearly bought the TC Flashback first off as it seems very flexible for the money but got sucked in by the Belle Epoch.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

    Cheers

    Dave

I think a Carbon Copy would sound really nice with it.

Digitech DL-8. I use that as my 2nd delay after my Timefactor. You get 0.5-8 second digital delays (which I think is based on the 2990), an all-wet reverse delay (which I use quite a bit), modulated, analog, lofi, slap, tape, and a built-in 20+ second looper. You also get the "hold" effect when you turn the repeat all the way up. I also have the Flashback (X4) and they sound totally different. DL-8 is less washy, clearer delay articulations. Playing around with the Time knob gets you some crazy effects.

Don't overlook the BOSS DD-7. Versatile and sounds great!
