I picked up this amp a while back and am trying to figure out the year. I love this amp.I know it's a Silverface that has had Blackface cosmetics put on it. Based on the code on the chassis, it matches up to a 1967 Princeton Reverb, but it's obviously not a PR. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The transformer codes look like 13th week 1974 and 46th week 1973. That is a guess of course but unlikely it is 1964.
    Am I reading right 606 4 13 and 606 3 46.
    Was there a speaker code?
The chassis serial # is 1967 but that could have been just used as parts.

You have no history on it but, if it sounds good that's the main thing.

Start with some roses, then a nice dinner. Maybe you should go dancing afterwards. Then, I'm sure she'll tell you all you need to know. ;)

Thanks, I knew I should have reworded the title.

Serial numbers are notoriously inaccurate for dating Fender amps: much better to go with the obvious parts. From the transformers you're looking at early 74. What are the pot codes? Speaker code? Is there a paper tubechart with a date?

I'll have to pull it again to get the pot codes. There's no date on the tube chart and I don't have the original speaker.

The serial number is post 1970, and it has pink wires :))) so probably a 1974 with an after-market black faceplate.
