Help! Handle rattles on old Marshall cab

Hi there,

I searched around a bit but couldn't find anything for this specific issue. I have an old Marshall cab, early '74 I think, and one of the handles is very noticeably rattling when I play. It's driving me nuts, and I think it's gotten worse lately. What's the best way to go about fixing it? Maybe shimming something between the handle and the cab? The handle is fixed in with 6 studs, not screws, so I can't see any way to tighten them. I also understand the 6-screw handles are difficult to come by new, is that right? Thanks in advance for any help!

I had one that did the same. Just put some epoxy in the edge of the handle where it was rattling. Cheap and did the trick.

i HATE rattles of ANY kind
be it a car an amp or a cab.

The plastic bar handles rattle where the cylinder 'grip' rotates in it's mounts; I replaced mine with steel handles. However, I hear a shot of silicone RTV will silence them...
