Help me figure out what model Gibby...

    Sorry about the blurry pics! I don't have a digital camera...just a camera phone and I am lame.... Can anyone tell me the exact model of this guitar? I know it's a '63 but I've been told it's either a les paul special or an sg... nothing on the truss rod cover. Tuners are newer ('99) klusons... P-90's as well (had B.L. p-90 size humbuckers when I bought it)I've had it for years... are ya diggin' grandma Lupe's decor ? :D [​IMG] [​IMG]

    thanx guys! I love it.... my #1 at the moment... plays perfectly...sounds awesome! it's been through a lot since 1963... battle scars everywhere... yet another lame question... would the paint from that era have lead in it?:crazy

    Don't change the color. The white ones (I think it's Polar White) are more rare.

    If it has a laquer clearcoat, you don't have to worry about the lead. If it does contain lead and isn't clear-coated, it still ain't gonna kill you.

    I always try not to suck on guitar but can't help myself. I suck on guitar!
