Hey everyone, ok I've been drooling over the intro for Radiohead's Punchdrunk Lovesick Sigalong for a while now, just need to figure out how to make that sound. Is it the DOD analouge filter with some space echo dealy? with that said is it possible to mimick it really close with a DL4 on sweep or should i just man up and get a BYOC version of the DOD?

That's an Ed O'Brien sound. Jonny is playing the lead before the singing. Don't know why everybody attributes everything in Radiohead to Jonny Greenwood. Sounds like DD-3 and some sort of chorus/flanger.

I think the DOD filter they use is an envelope filter, so it wouldn't work for that.

It almost sounds like a Small Stone, but not quite.

i saw them this summer, and was blown away by ed's playing.

certainly greenwood is an important part of the band,

but ed is their unsung hero.

Ed really is an unsung hero.

    A band of equal parts.
