Currently, I'm using an M-13 for my delays and reverbs.
I'm planning on downsizing/simplifying sometime in the near future, and I'd like to be set on a delay.

Here's what I've had and liked:
Deluxe Memory Man Tap Tempo 1100ms
Deluxe Memory Boy

I also had a DL-4, but I found that too many options was staggering and occupied too much of my time.

I want to keep it budget friendly.

Here's what I'm considering:
Deluxe Memory Boy
Memory Lane Jr.
El Capistan

Any other delays in the same realm that I'm missing?

Wampler Faux Tape Echo with tap tempo is my favorite pedal on my board, I would try it out if you have a chance

Memory Lane Jr. and never look back.

Couldn't agree more. Not the cheapest pedal but amazing tone and killer feature set. I've got mine set to be able to switch between modulation/no modulation and that works very well for me in live settings.

Anyways, my recommendations are: boss dds or akai headrush.

agree. The dd-20 or the dd-7 are "budget" friendly and sound fantastic. I'd give an edge to the dd-7 because they are easier to find for ~$100 and have the small footprint.

if the original poster is looking for a Deluxe Memory Boy, I've got one for sale. JHS tap tempo mod & T1M expression knob included. PM for details/photos.
