So, I've been having this problem with 2 of my guitars... a Gretsch Country Classic with Filtertrons and an old Silvertone Stratotone. In the heat of a live show when I'm playing a little harder than normal (not rediculously hard), my high E string catches on the screw that holds the pick up in place. On both of these guitars, this screw sticks up a bit. Do you guys have any advice on filing that screw or putting something around it to make it less likely to catch the string? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

    1. raise the high E side a bit if you're not gonna change the way you pick/strum
    2. cover screw with tape
