Need a slightly longer speaker cable for my Fender amplifier in order to be able to use my attenuator. That, and would like to have something more hi-fi. Cut a 6' Mogami 2534 Microphone cable in half, and need the one end to remain the same (1/4 male jack), but need connect the other ends to my speaker via some blade type connectors, which I am going to Solder. Of this wire, which one is the positive (clear??) negative (blue?), and what do I do with the copper ground wire surrounding it? Will this work? I have no interest in blowing my speaker or my Amp up. Thanks for any help you all can provide.
