How many screws do you see on that pickguard?

no expert, but are those saddles correct?

And the gold hardware - why would you do that to a '52?

That's a MIM six-saddle bridge. Who would do that to a '52 --- even a reissue? Why the three extra pickguard holes? And where's the decal on the neck, again?

You could ask for pics of the numbers and markings in the cavities, but fuggettaboutit -- that's no vintage anything. I doubt it's even a Fender.

Sorry man, that guitar isn't close to a 52 Tele.
Hell, it might be worth $250 as a cheap player, and that's about it.

If it was a real, messed up 52 tele, and still had some original parts,
some of those parts would be worth over
    $250 EACH.

Looks like the case may be worth more than the guitar.

    Let me fix the ad.

It's and 52' RI fender style telecaster with a replaced fender style neck. all you have to do is slap the fender decal on it! It IS a fender style not a replica, nothing like that. Original electronics that came with this Fender Style guitar. All that was replaced was the neck. No i do not have the original neck. need it gone ASAP. 250 cash first come first serve. Comes with beige vintage style hard case!!!!

Everything (and more) about 52 Teles, right here.
Nacho Banos is THE TELE expert.
The book is big and expensive, the pics are pure Tele porn,
    the info is incredible.

I would bet that it is a 52 reissue...........
Which is probably what the seller meant anyway.
A lot of guys refer to their guitars by the year it is a copy of..
That doesn't look like a Fender color from the 50s that I remember.
