    Hi there...

I need some help. I bought this Marshall EL34 100/100 from eBay supposedly brand new but it came with a "used" sticker price tag right on it. I believe it might be Guitar Center by the "OurPrice" marking but I'm not sure...

I am in the process of opening a dispute, I've actually already been in touch with ebay, Paypal, my credit card and actually my attorney just to protect myself. The seller has tried to wash his hands of it.

The seller tried to blame the numerous scratches and dents on the "little old lady who packed it up at FedEx" which FedEx denies (there was no shipping damage) as they have viewed their videotape of the actual packing of the amp showing it wasn't damaged by them. I have all of that documented.

I'm just getting all my ducks in a row, and I'm trying to narrow down where this amp was on sale as a used amplifier.

Anyone recognize this price tag style?

    Thanks!

I don't think a pawn shop would be able to figure out the year of a Marshall amp...or care to...

Ive seen that style of tag at multiple music shops and even pawn shops. Might be tough to track down. If it was used and sold as new, ebay or PayPal should have your back.

75% sure it’s music go round. They always put the stickers on blue masking tape

they have not been making those for many many years now.. I would be surprised if anyone had a new old stock piece laying around at this point. Was the sticker in the pics? did you ask for additional pics?

I was thinking the same. These are long discontinued, but if it’s sold as new, the seller has set an expectation.

Should not matter where its from. It was sold as new, it's not. It has scratches. Buyer is always right at Ebay. Request a return . If they refuse, open a dispute. Should be easy.

OP how long ago did you get it? All recent sold items were listed as "pre owned".. do you have a link to your auction you could share?

An attorney on a $900 amp? So if this attorney does any more than two hours of work you’re spending more on the attorney than the amp is worth...
