Hi guys recently got myself a 2x12 marshall 1936 vintage cab and am curious how to hook it up properly to my jcm2000 dsl 100 head. I've only used 4x12's so I'm not sure which output I use and what the switch should be set to for this cab. I know many people use 2x12 cabs so prpobably have a bit more experience. I picked this cab up on a whim because it was super cheap and I needed a lighter smaller cab setup for places where you're mic'd up etc.

thank you so much in advance.

8 ohms on the amp and cab. I have a real early 1936 and it only runs @ 8 ohms, so I assume that yours is the same.

I own a jcm 900 1936 cab and it runs at 8 ohms mono as well.

Thanks very much guys. The cab came today, set the switch to 8ohms, sent it from the parellel outputs (which are 8ohms, the 16 is a seperate one all together), into the left mono input and it seems fine so happy days. Love the sound of the Vuntage over 1960 4x12's.
