Has anyone tried a Gibson pickguard on their H137 to see if it fits?
I know Jay Wolfe has a guard, but it is a little funky looking if I remember correctly.
I was thinking of trying a Gibson one on my H137, but I may just leave the vintage cherry finish alone. Not sure yet. The guitar just kilss with my Greer CAM18 though.

personally i like the Wolfe custom 'guard, but decided to leave mine (TV yellow, faded) alone. was tempted to strip the finish, cuz the grain looks so good underneath, then got to thinkin' it's been probably been done by J.P. or one of the other '50's guys... just wanted to chime in 'bout how much i dug its sound this past week with Juke 112...

Mine's a dark 'burst, not sure what they call it. I saw the pick guards on Wolfe's web site and I'll agree with the statement about them not looking quite right for some reason. Don't know if the Gibson 'guard would work.
I'm leaving mine just the way it is. One of the few guitars I've purchased that I have not felt the need to mod in any way.
Smokin' guitar - love it!

I think I'm gonna leave mine alone too. I love the tone of the Lollars in this guitar. With my Greer, it just kills. Sounds pretty amazing through the Clark too.

That pickguard looks nice. The one for the 2 P90 models didn't seem to have as nice of lines, except now I can't find a pic of it anywhere.
