Are these original Hershey's or are they the ones you've been developing?

Here's another Harmony PU in a tele:

Man! You've been productive lately - can you repost the other new pick up which I can't find today?

Best, Pete.

I had to look up what a Hershey Bar pickup was. How do those sound?

You know what I keep hoping someone'll reproduce? Gold Foil pickups.

I'm a little surprised nobody's done that yet.

Those are not pretty.

Are they surface mount i.e. no rout required?

If not, could a pup be designed to be thin enough to not need a rout into the body? Could be a market for that, even though you have to do something with the wires.

That's cool! What is that?
I'm pretty sure that's one of Ry Cooder's Frankensteins. Might be a reproduction of one though. That's a bridge and pickup from a Supro/Valco type of Lapsteel guitar.

edit....... oh wait, only the bridge pickup. Looks like there's a Strat bridge. I wasn't paying close attention. Sorry.

these pups are some of the earliest supro valco - etc.. inside is 2 coils like on the fender p-bass - but they are just paper bobbins and the magnet is like the Rickenbacker horse-shoe -but it is two side magnets with a metal top that goes over the strings - they sound great!
