You'll recognize some of these cuts from E72.

It's especially cool to listen to Truckin'---->other one--->drums--->other one--->jam (prelude)--->dew--->other one.

If you ever listened to E72 as Truckin' fades out and thought "No! Not yet! Give me more!", here's the stuff you've always wanted!

The shows from the Europe 72 tour are special and jaw dropping. The final show at the Lyceum being the pinnacle. I read in some biography they were heavily dosed for that show too. Thanks for sharing!

Made me think of my favorite thing to hell you as the crowded herded out after an arena show ... "Hey, You in the tie-dye..."

"Steppin' Out with the Grateful Dead - England '72" is a great taste of all the England shows from the Europe '72 tour - highly recommended.

A few years ago I was infatuated with this entire tour. Sometimes it's VERY hard to tell Billy was the only drummer- HUGE SOUND.

By far my favorite. Pigpen was on fire. Jerry.. I don't need to say anymore :)

Awwwriiight. Pig's singing and playing. And Jerry is taking no prisoners with those strat tones. They're hot all around. Thanks for this one.

excellent, I'll have to check that out, thanks for the link!

I really like Europe '72, but my favorite stuff was the pre '71 Dead after they had Billy & Mickey playing, and then again after Mickey joined again for their funky/dance days. Gotta have my percussion!

thanks for the link!

I'll do some searching tomorrow but can anyone tell me if there are any "Dicks Picks" or any other releases from this tour?

Mentioned earlier in the thread " Steppin out with the Grateful Dead" is a compilation from the 1972 England shows...multi-track and beautifully mixed and "Rockin the Rhein" - a germany show 1972...multi track and perfectly mixed.
Both are a must hear. I really hope for more official E72 shows.

Hundred Year Hall (Frankfurt 4/26/72) is my favorite by far of any of the official releases from that tour.
