Looks like there will be yet another purchase in line for me. :) I love my 2 Zendrives and my compressor but I'm thinking my delay could be quieter and more "analogish". Got any suggestions?

I will probably sell my AD9 and buy one, eventually. I played it at NAMM. It's no hype. Monster pedal. Doesn't have the delay time that some others have, but it sounds great and has every feature I want.

I believe I'm headed in the Diamond delay direction based on what I've read and your generous advice. There are so many good ones and my experience is , try them and find the one that suits one's own personal tone. I have a lot of trust in the good advice given here though. Thanks Guys.

Oops, posted this question in another thread...

Can anyone compare the Memory Lane to the Aquapuss and the Echoczar?

Hmmmm interesting. Curious to hear what you think of that pedal. Lots of pedalboard real estate though...

i'm still waiting for mine to show up...however, if you spend any amount of time online at the toneczareffects.com site, you'll get a good appreciation for its capabilities.

How come I don't see so many Echoczars on boards? Is it just the wait time and price? Is he still making them the same way today with those hard to find Mn3005 chips?

Pretty sure he has always used current production BL chips

Yeah, I think he mostly uses current production chips. Every once in a while he'll do a couple one-off mn3005 ones, then sell them on ebay, but otherwise it's all current components.

On that note, a close friend of mine played with an echoczar and some other high dollar delays and he thought it was great. That was about it. But I think me and him have been lost on nuance. If you can play anything will sound good. I like the MML2. Currently playing Carbon Copy (for the 3rd time). Other than the echoczar I used every other one. Oh and that friend, he's been using a VMSD for years now. He doesn't miss the echoczar. Not sure what chips he's putting in those echoczars

The MLJR is probably my top 3 favorite delay ever of any flavor or construction. I had it twice.

And just to split more hairs I ordered a VFE Blueprint the other at their discontinued price. Don't need it. Just want to see. Ha.
