You know, the one where he shows the construction of the song?
It really wasn't easy to find!
I enjoyed that ...
O.K. Say what you will about the man but that was cool. Whether you like his music or not, he most certainly is talented.
thanks for the video
kool vid, nice to see the mini NAMM in the studio!!
Not a huge Mayer fan, but I really dug watching the video.
very cool video! thanks for posting that.
John's one of my favourite artists and it was really great seeing/hearing/watching this!
Some *really* cool pedals there... TGP approved stuff, to say the least makes me wonder...
Thanks for posting, dig it mucho!
Thanks for finding it for us!
Thanks for that link, I had downloaded the vid some time ago from where I can't remember, but it's great to have a live link to it.
Here's a concert clip of the song:
Anyone know what he's playing around 2:01 (in terms of the pedal)???
Really does sound pretty shyte, but I kinda' like it (probably not, though)
He has like ALL the Cat's Meow in there. I want.
the pedal he calls the worst sounding pedal is the FUzz Factory i'm pretty sure
The tone in the solo to that song (better heard on the album version) haunts me. IMO, it's one of the best recorded guitar tones in history. Yes, flame away, but that is my opinion.
One of the better uses of twenty minutes I have had in a while. That was really cool.
It was neat to see the concert clip and how the song started and follow it to completion.
I wished I had songwriting chops and guitar chops like that.
i've watched this a bunch of times, but it's been a while, so i watched it again.
two things to say...
-this studio is across the street from my apartment :AOK
-this video made go buy a pog
The tone at 2:01 is some sort of Vibe.
After watching that video, no one around here should ever diss John Mayer again.
We all wish we could do that for a day.
Thanks for the video, I have much respect for the guy and his music.
i'm a fan. what a lucky guy to have such a great career...would kill for a day like that.
another great clip (IMHO of course). amazing intro and outro: better in high quality too!
This was in...Holland or Denmark, not sure, but the tone is KILLER!!
