Inspired by a recent thread I started to jam on the Hey Joe changes.. sort of.. This is the result.. (thanks RH (Richard).. this is not so organized.. but there are OUT moments.. some by intention...) [SOUNDCLOUD]http://soundcloud.com/anders-bergdahl/h-h-h-h-hey-jojojoseph[/SOUNDCLOUD] This is recorded "live" one take guitar and Octatrack (octatrack supplies effects, looping, sampling, granular stuff.. and so on.. some time i will make a more elaborate version with same more thought preparations. put i had a good time.. )
Keep it up you two ... and thanks for the dedication ... (juss kiddin') Yeah, both working with some extremely cool concepts
Thanks for listening and giving comments Richard.. that comment about the Metheny album is interesting.. I got en idea to have say four loops going four bars each starting one par after each other and the have the octatrack overwriting the oldest every time. OR perhaps longer intervals, like 16 bars starting four with four bar intervals.. the just go into crazy rock lead mode.. The title will be "Absolutely no tolerance for silence - AT ALL" Hey Joseph, I actually had you in mind naming this little jam.. Doing crazy stuff keeps you young, or perhaps just crazy.. perhaps young = crazy in some way Glad you enjoyed it Rad and I'm certain that Jimi would have LOVED all cool gear that can do in seconds what took hours with tape.. If he had lived on and stayed creative he would have blown or minds.. there's a spaceman..
It sure as hell does ... Thanks ... doing crazy stuff keeps you young... Keep it going ... you're on a crazy roll ...
